NMR SPECTROMETERS

The NMR Facility in the Department of Chemistry at The Ohio State University has four Bruker NMR spectrometers (DRX-500, DPX-400, AC-300, and DPX-250) in which researchers have access. The NMR spectrometers are located in rooms 0083 and 0086 of Evans Laboratory.

NMR CHARGES

The charges are calculated using the following schedule:
Day/Short Runs $3.60 per hour
Overnight Runs $2.40 per hour

These rates apply to all instruments. Daytime is defined as 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and short runs are defined as taking less than 4 hours.

Rates for other OSU users are four times the rates for internal users to reflect the subsidy from the Department for support services. Rates for external users are available on request.

If there are any questions concerning your billing or the rate structure, please contact me. If there are questions regarding the operation or condition of the NMR's and their accessories, please contact Dr. Young or Professor Coleman.

For more information on the usage or rules of using these facilities please see the NMR Guidelines page.
