THREE POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY!
Postdoctoral Research Position in Molecular Virology Is Available at The Ohio State University: One postdoctoral position is available immediately in Dr. Zucai Suo’s laboratory (http://www.biosci.ohio-state.edu/~zsuo/) to study virology, innate immunity, and biochemistry relevant to the infection of hepatitis C and to develop anti-viral agents. The candidate should have solid background in cell-based assays, confocal and multiphoton imaging and microscopy, immunofluoresence, RNA synthesis and purification, Western-blot, Kinase assays, quantitative RT-PCR, subcloning, PCR, and protein purification. Please contact Dr. Suo through email at suo.3@osu.edu, phone (614) 688-3706, or regular mail: 880 Bio. Sci., 484 West 12th Ave., Department of Biochemistry, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH 43210 USA.
Postdoctoral Research Position in X-ray Crystallography Is Available at The Ohio State University: One postdoctoral position is available immediately in Dr. Zucai Suo’s laboratory (http://www.biosci.ohio-state.edu/~zsuo/) to study protein functions and interactions through protein X-ray crystallography. The candidate should have a PhD in structural biology and have extensive experience in all aspects of protein X-ray crystallography, including protein expression and purification, crystallization, structure determination and refinement. Experience with baculovirus expression system is a plus. The protein targets are human kinases and DNA polymerases. Please contact Dr. Suo through email at suo.3@osu.edu, phone (614) 688-3706, or regular mail: 880 Bio. Sci., 484 West 12th Ave., Department of Biochemistry, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH 43210 USA.
Postdoctoral Research Position in Mechanistic Enzymology Is Available at The Ohio State University: One postdoctoral position is available immediately in an enzymology laboratory to study kinetics of novel human DNA polymerases, kinases, and bio-fuel relevant enzymes. Background in enzyme kinetics (stopped-flow and rapid chemical quench measurements, data analysis, etc.), biophysics, protein folding, protein purification, and recombinant DNA techniques is preferred. An important criterion for selection will be the ability of the desired individual to pursue independent research in an active, multi-disciplinary setting. Further information about the Suo Lab can be obtained from his group website ( http://www.biosci.ohio-state.edu/~zsuo/). Interested candidates may contact Dr. Suo through email at suo.3@osu.edu, phone (614) 688-3706, or regular mail: 880 Bio. Sci., 484 West 12th Ave., Department of Biochemistry, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH 43210 USA. |
