Peryshkov, Associate Professor University of South CarolinaTitle: Boron Clusters for Metal-Free Bond ActivationHost: Christine ThomasDmitry Peryshkov started his independent career in 2013 at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of South Carolina, where he is currently an associate professor. He received an undergraduate degree in Materials Science from Moscow State University. In 2011, he earned a PhD degree at Colorado State University, under the supervision of Steven Strauss, working on polyfluorinated superweak anions. Following that, he was a postdoctoral researcher with Richard Schrock at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, working on tungsten oxo alkylidenes. The current group's research revolves around the redox chemistry of main group elements as well as transition metal catalysis. CBEC 130 America/New_York public
