General Chemistry Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is available for assistance to General Chemistry students. Located in room 170 on the first floor of Celeste Laboratory, the LRC is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 5:00 during Fall and Spring Semesters. During these hours the LRC is staffed with teaching assistants of Chemistry courses 1110, 1210, 1220, 1250, 1610, and 1620. TAs are able to answer questions about any General Chemistry course. There is absolutely no charge or appointment needed to get help in the Learning Resource Center -- just stop by.

Find your TA on the current LRC Office Hours Schedule.

Other Resources at Ohio State

There are many programs across the university that also provide tutoring as a part of their mission. Some of these resources are outlined on the Academic Success page.

Private Tutoring

While there are many free resources for OSU students, the CBC Undergraduate Studies Office also maintains a list of individuals who have indicated their interest in tutoring students privately.  All arrangements, including payment, are handled independently by the student and the tutor. This is provided as a courtesy to interested parties; tutors are not specifically endorsed by the department. Request a copy of the most current list.
