Chemistry Doctoral Student Wins People’s Choice Award at Three Minute Thesis Competition

his past Monday, April 11th, five doctoral students competed head-to-head for the honor of winning the 2016 Three Minute Thesis competition at Ohio State. Presenters had only three minutes and a single slide to explain their research to a non-expert audience. The presentations were judged by a panel of Ohio State faculty and directors of communications. Among the winners was Chemistry’s own Roopa Comandur, a doctoral student. She received the People’s Choice award, as decided by the audience, and was awarded $250.
