Heather Allen named recipient of the 2022 Irving Langmuir Award in Chemical Physics

Congratulations to Professor Heather Allen, named the 2022 Irving Langmuir Award in Chemical Physics, a prestigious national award given by the American Chemical Society.  Most (if not all) of the prior awardees are Members of the National Academy of Science.  The award will be presented at the 2022 San Diego ACS National Meeting in March.

The award recognizes and encourages outstanding interdisciplinary research in chemistry and physics, in the spirit of Irving Langmuir.  A nominee must have made an outstanding contribution to chemical physics or physical chemistry within the 10 years preceding the current nomination.
