OSBP Student Awarded 2016-2017 Academic Year PHPID Graduate Training Scholarship

David Heisler receives PHPID graduate training scholarship

Congratulations to 5th year student, David Heisler, for being awarded a PHPID graduate training scholarship. Heisler is a member of Dr. Dmitri Kudryashov’s lab and is receiving this award for studying bacterial toxins affecting the actin cytoskeleton. PHPID is an assortment of Ohio State researchers spanning across a wide range of subject matter and research method related to Infectious Disease. Only two of these fellowships were awarded this year, one of them being Heisler. We’re pleased to see our students excel and can’t wait to see all of the bright things they will do in their future.
