R. B. Sunoj, a postdoctoral alum of Christopher Hadad was awarded the 2019 Shanti
Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in the area of Chemical Science by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). This prestigious award is the most respected honor for the Indian Government to scientists below age 45. Sunoj’s work answers questions on properties of chemical reactions, catalysis, and the kinetic and thermodynamic aspects of chemical reactions using computational methods.
