Somnath Biswas Awarded Presidential Fellowship

Congratulations to graduate student Somnath Biswas for being awarded a Presidential Fellowship in the Spring 2019 competition! The Presidential Fellowship is the highest award given by the Graduate School, for outstanding scholarship. This award will support the fellow in their final year of dissertation work, and is awarded to only 24 of OSU’s 10,000 graduate students each term.

Somnath joined OSU in 2015 after earning his M.S. in Chemistry at IIT Kanpur. His work is with Robert Baker in the area of solar energy conversion. He has already published seven papers at OSU, four as first author. Congratulations, Somnath!
