Congratulations to graduate student Kevin Fenk of the Herbert Research Group who has recently been awarded a U.S. Department of Energy Graduate Fellowship! Kevin is receiving this fellowship for his project titled “Witnessing the Birth of the Hydrated Electron: Ultrafast Charge-Transfer-to-Solvent Dynamics of Thiocyanate from First Principles.” As part of this fellowship Kevin will be spending time with collaborators at the United States Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Lab!
