Ray Goodrich, undergraduate alumnus, now executive director of the Infectious Disease Research Center at Colorado State University was awarded the Order of Military Medical Merit for his contributions to the U.S. Army Medical Department.
We mourn the loss of Dr. Leo A. Paquette, a Professor Emeritus of Organic Chemistry earned after joining the department in 1963. Dr. Paquette was best known for achieving the first total synthesis of the Platonic solid dodecahedrane.
