Biography:
Luke was raised in western Pennsylvania. He received a B.S. in Chemistry in 2018 at Purdue University and conducted research under the tutelage of Dr. David Thompson. He then arrived at The Ohio State University in 2018 to purse graduate studies in Bioinorganic Chemistry with Dr. Hannah Shafaat. Here, he developed methods for characterizing biological heterometallic iron-sulfur clusters using X- and W-band EPR spectroscopy. Upon completing his Ph.D. in 2023, Luke joined the ranks of Research Support Services to help manage the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department’s ever-growing EPR and NMR facility.
