Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ryan is a second-generation glass blower specializing In scientific glass since 2009. Before joining The Ohio State University he spent 5 years at the University of Pittsburgh supporting research labs with custom glassware fabrication, modification and repair. Beyond the lab Ryan is very active in the American scientific glassblowers society, teaching young people the trade, and enjoys restoring and touring on antique motorcycles.
