Principles and reactions in the synthesis of organic molecules, acidity and basicity, chemistry of carbonyl groups, oxidation and reduction, electrophilic and nucleophilic reagents, functional group interconversions, and protecting group chemistry.
Prereq: 2520, 2620, 2920H, or equiv. Not open to students with credit for both 832 and 833.
