Chemistry of the lower atmosphere, including air pollution and climate change, chemistry and kinetics of atmospheric oxidants, heterogeneous chemical mechanisms, tropospheric and stratospheric gas and particulate phases relative to ozone depletion. 231 or 251 recommended.
Prereq: 1220 (123), 1620, 1920H, or equiv, and 4200, 4300, or equiv. Not open to students with credit for 641.
