CHEM 7450: Metals in Organic Synthesis

This course presents the elementary reactions of organotransition metal complexes and their applications as catalysts in organic synthesis. Discussed reactions include: olefin functionalization, carbonylative reactions, C-H functionalization, C-C and C-X cross coupling, photoredox catalysis, allylic substitution, alkene metathesis.
