Announcement of Memorandum of Understanding Between Kyoto University Institute for Chemical Research and The Ohio State University’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry

Representatives from OSU and Kyoto University hold up the Memorandum of Understanding

We are excited to announce the creation of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Kyoto University for Chemical Research and The Ohio State University’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry! The Institute for Chemical Research at Kyoto University in Kyoto, Japan (ICR) and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The Ohio State University (OSU-CBC) have been actively involved in research and education in chemistry for many years. Both institutes recognize the importance of scientific cooperation as a global issue, and have therefore agreed upon a collaboration in engineering/science fields developed at ICR and OSU-CBC. For the next 5 years, these two institutes have agreed to work as partners towards establishing a multi-dimensional framework for future programs such as Faculty/Staff Exchange, Student Exchange, Cooperative Research, and the sharing of Intellectual Property Rights. Congratulations to both institutes for their dedication to advancing scientific cooperation and partnerships!
