These facilities are dedicated to providing cutting edge technology and methodology in support of the research and teaching missions at The Ohio State University and beyond.
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry teaching and research missions are supported by several core facilities – the Research Support Services (RSS). These facilities are available for researchers within our department, across campus, and throughout the region. Our experienced RSS scientists and engineers are intimately involved in the research and teaching efforts through consultation, collaboration, and training. Routine accomplishments include publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals, offering courses in their discipline, and designing new techniques. Visit the sites below for more detailed information about our state-of-the-art resources!
Other important facilities across campus available for our users include the Campus Chemical Instrumentation Center, the Campus Microscopy and Imaging Facility, the Trace Element Research Laboratory, and the Center for Electron Microscopy and Analysis.
