Foundations 2 of General Chemistry
CHEM 1208 is second course in a two-course series, for science majors, covering the mole, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, thermochemistry, gases, liquids, and solids, paired with metacognitive learning strategies. CHEM 1208 also includes a laboratory experience, that covers labs from both CHEM 1206 and CHEM 1208 content. Credit for CHEM 1206 and CHEM 1208 is equivalent to CHEM 1210.
Prereq: Chem 1206, and a grade of C- or above in Math 1120, 1130, 1131, 1140, 1148, 1150, or above. Not open to students with credit for 1210, 1220, 1610, 1620, 1910H, 1920H, 1250.
