Lauren Loftus Awarded Presidential Fellowship

Congratulations to graduate student Lauren Loftus for being awarded a Presidential Fellowship in the Autumn 2018 competition! The Presidential Fellowship is the highest award given by the Graduate School, for outstanding scholarship. This award will support the fellow in their final year of dissertation work, and is awarded to only 24 of OSU’s 10,000 graduate students each term.

Lauren joined OSU in 2014 after being an honors Chemistry major at Ohio University. Her work with Dr. Turro is on the development of ruthenium-based dual mode agents for photochemotherapy, which has already resulted in multiple papers in JACS and Chemistry Eur. J. Congratulations Lauren!
